If you’re looking to hide gaps, crookedness, chips or severe stains, but aren’t interested in invasive procedures in order to get the perfect smile, then porcelain veneers might just be the right dental treatment for you. Dental veneers are thin porcelain shells that are bonded to the front of your teeth to hide imperfections.
If you feel your smile isn’t what it once was then porcelain veneers can help you recover your smile! These restorations are an excellent way to redesign your smile by changing the appearance of the front teeth. Cosmetic veneers are used to fix issues such as staining, cracked teeth, spaces, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth and many other issues. Veneers are made from a thin ceramic shell that cover the front surface of your existing teeth.
Before porcelain veneers are put on, we will shave a minimal amount of enamel off of your natural tooth to make room for the veneers. Once this is done, we will pick dental veneers with a shade that match your natural teeth, so you have a smile that looks all yours. Veneers are a great way to get the smile you’ve always wanted without having to shave down the majority of your natural tooth or wearing braces.
Cosmetic veneers take approximately two to three visits to complete. In the first visit, we will discuss the cosmetic plan of what we are going to accomplish using veneers. During this visit an impression of your teeth is taken and sent to a dental lab for creation of a waxup which will serve as the blueprint for the treatment. Once we have put a plan in place, we will carefully prepare the teeth for the placement of the new veneers. As we complete this phase of the process, the next step is to take an impression of the newly prepared teeth. This impression will be sent to our laboratory for the final veneers to be made which takes between 10-14 days. While the new veneers are being fabricated at the lab, we will provide you with a beautiful temporary set of veneers to wear.
During the last appointment the temporary veneers are removed and the final cosmetic restorations are placed onto the teeth. As the veneers are finalized, we will make every effort to make sure that your new veneers will feel just like your natural teeth. We will bond them into place ensuring that you can enjoy your new smile for a very long time!
Do you have stained teeth from cigarette smoke, antibiotics, or caffeine? If so, teeth whitening can help restore your smile back to brilliance. While over-the-counter toothpastes may promise whiter teeth, the fact remains that these popular products often aren’t enough to give you the pearly whites you want.
In fact, they can sometimes leave much to be desired. In about 45 minutes, our professional teeth whitening system can get your teeth up to 10 shades brighter. It’s safe, effective and can be done in just one visit

When a small area of decay is present on the tooth surface it can predictably be repaired using composite resin restorative material. After the removal of decay the composite resin material is molded and sculpted over an adhesive gel that is placed on the tooth. After the resin has been applied a LED light is used to harden the resin. At this stage the restoration is then polished to give you a fresh, new smile.
Using composite resin restorations is an obvious improvement over unsightly silver amalgam fillings. With the advancements in dental technology, bonding usually lasts for over 5 years. It is a safe, affordable, and attractive solution for many common dental problems.
Inlays and Onlays are often referred to as partial crowns. They use the existing tooth as a base and fit the inlay or onlay on the tooth. This is done to strengthen the tooth, restore its shape, and prevent further damage. An inlay is done when there is no damage to the cusps of the tooth and the inlay can be placed right on the tooth. An onlay is used when the damage is a little more extensive.
At Breeze Dental clinic we use the innovative CEREC same day restoration technology to create your Inlay or Onlay at the same appointment so you don’t have to tolerate a temporary restoration for 3-4 weeks and have to come back to the office to complete your procedure. The decayed area of the tooth is first removed during the procedure. Next a digital scan of your tooth is taken with the CEREC Camera. Then you restoration (Onlay or Inlay) is designed immediately by your Doctor. Next the Cerec Milling Unit will create a custom fitted precision restoration made from a porcelain block. The restoration takes about 30 min to make, so a temporary inlay or onlay will not be needed for that time. During the next step the Inlay or Onlay will be placed on to your tooth and set with cement. Your tooth will look and feel natural and you or anyone else won’t be able to tell the difference! Call Breeze Dental Clinic to schedule your same day Onlay or Inlay procedure!
